The R2 Mouse Cap is a fast and flexible solution for protecting silicon probe implants on mice. It consists of a plastic headplate that is cemented to the skull, leaving the entire top exposed to place multiple implants.

Two side walls hinge to close around the implant after probe insertion. The inside of the cap can be lined with the included conductive mesh for electrical isolation. Header pins are included to flexibly position probe connectors inside the cap.

You can get an R2 Mouse Cap Stencil to easily cut the copper mesh to size, or print your own. Follow implant protocol directions in the documentation.

• 2x 30 mm header pins

• 4x 12 mm header pins

• 4x 20 mm header pins (extra)

• 1x strip of copper mesh
