open-source electrophysiology

Founded in 2010 by Josh Siegle and Jakob Voigts at MIT, the Open Ephys initiative now encompasses a much larger team of scientists and developers. We are focused on empowering scientists to understand and modify the tools they use to study the brain and empowering our workforce with collective ownership of the business.

Encouraging scientists to contribute to open-source tool development and documentation is a central part of our mission.
If you'd like to make an impact, don't hesitate to get involved.
