open-source electrophysiology

Founded in 2010 by Josh Siegle and Jakob Voigts at MIT, the Open Ephys initiative now encompasses a much larger team of scientists and developers. Our growth has been maintained by generous contributions from donors and the enthusiastic support of the worldwide neuroscience community.

Encouraging scientists to contribute to open-source tool development and documentation is a central part of our mission.
If you'd like to make an impact, don't hesitate to get involved or make a donation.
