The MIniscope Wire-Free uses a micro SD card to save acquired frames. The micro SD card is also used to load the configurations settled by the user.

It comes pre-programmed with the Miniscope key and configured to save 30 seconds of frames. This means that you can insert it immediately on the Miniscope and/or use it right away with the MiniscopeSDCardReader software.

Since the Miniscope Wire-Free saves frames at 20 Hz and it is using the limited supply from a battery, the selection of the micro SD card must be taken with caution. It should have enough write speed and, at the same time, low current consumptions when operating. For more information, check the MIniscope Wire-Free site.
