EIB 32 and 64 channels
PCB for 32 and 64 channels.
The holes are gold plated to achieve low impedance. Board thickness is 0.8 mm to reduce overall weight.
There are 4 versions of the EIBs, three for the new shuttleDrive, one for the old flexDrive. Please take care in choosing how many channels and which connector you need, and contact us if you have any questions about compatibility.

(2) shuttleDrive 32-ch Omnetics EIB *
(3) shuttleDrive 64-ch Omnetics EIB **
(4) flexDrive (old) 64-ch Omnetics EIB
* - This version is also compatible with the flexDrive (old)
** - This version is marked as obsolete. Please consider using version (1) with the Low-profile Headstage 64ch
Average weight, external diameter and hole sizes:
(1) 0.56 grams, 15.9 mm, small holes
(2) 0.54 grams, 15.9 mm, large holes
(3) 0.68 grams, 15.9 mm, small holes
(4) 0.98 grams, 21.6 mm, large holes
Can be ordered with or without connectors soldered on.
Please note that the holes are sized for either small or large Neuralynx gold pins.

(1) EIB 64 Channels
Headstage connection: one 64-channel (70-pin) Hirose connectors (product DF40C(2.0)-70DS-0.4V(51)).
Includes two holes of 1.3 mm for fiber optic ferrules or screws.
Supports 16 tetrodes.
(2) EIB 32 Channels
Headstage connection: one 32-channel (36-pin) Omnetics connectors (product #A79026-001).
Includes two holes for 1.25 mm fiber optic ferrules, and two holes for screws.
Supports 8 tetrodes or 16 stereotrodes.
(3) EIB 64 Channels
Headstage connection: two 32-channel (36-pin) Omnetics connectors (product #A79026-001).
Includes hole holes for 0.70 mm fiber optic ferrules.
Supports 16 tetrodes.
(4) EIB 64 Channels
Headstage connection: two 32-channel (36-pin) Omnetics connectors (product #A79026-001).
Includes three holes for 1.25 mm fiber optic ferrules, and two holes for screws.
Supports 16 tetrodes.
The spacing of this EIB’s connectors is not compatible with the 64-channel Intan headstages. You will need to use two separate 32-channel headstages. If want to use the 64-channel Intan headstage, use the version (3) EIB 64 Channels.
